Randy Parker

Charter Captain

One of Kona's most respected and accomplished big-game fishing
captains, carrying forward a family legacy hat helped establish Hawaii as one
of the world's premier blue marlin destinations.

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Randy grew up
aboard charter boats and began fishing Kona's legendary waters as a child. He
caught his first marlin at just 10 years old and has spent a lifetime mastering
the offshore grounds that have made Kona famous worldwide.

Randy is the son of legendary Captain George Parker, an inductee into the
International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame. In 1954, George Parker made
sportfishing history by landing a 1,002-pound Pacific blue marlin on a homemade
lure, the first documented Pacific blue marlin grander and a catch that helped
put Kona on the international sportfishing map.

He is also the brother of the renowned Marlin Parker, one of the most
successful marlin captains and lure designers in the world. Together, the
Parker family has become synonymous with Kona sportfishing excellence.

Following in his family's footsteps, Randy built an impressive career of his
own. He has landed two Pacific blue marlin exceeding 1,000 pounds—a remarkable
achievement attained by only a handful of captains worldwide. His first grander
weighed 1,045 pounds, followed by a 1,174.5-pound giant less than a year later.
Throughout his career, Randy has earned top finishes in numerous billfish
tournaments in Hawaii and Mexico and has developed a reputation for
professionalism, consistency, and exceptional fish-finding ability.

With decades of experience fishing Kona's unique offshore environment, Captain
Randy Parker offers guests an authentic Hawaiian sportfishing experience built
on generations of knowledge, proven techniques, and a lifelong passion for
chasing blue marlin, ahi, ono, and mahi-mahi.

Whether you're a seasoned angler pursuing the fish of a lifetime or a
first-time visitor looking to experience Kona's world-famous waters, Captain
Randy Parker brings a level of expertise and local knowledge that few captains
can match.
